Summer is skipping by

Hello Fellow Crafters!

Has it been weeks since my last post? Summer has been so business with no end in sight.

The Leather Journals have arrived, I am working on my Journal so I can post a photo for the class.  The hand made journals are beautiful and very soft leather..  I was thinking about how I wanted to embellish my journal and all the thoughts were pouring in my head.  So I went on a buying spree to have everything (almost) you could think of to create your journal.

Who needs journals, well, besides ourselves.  I will be making one for a dear friend going through cancer, I want her to be able to put her thoughts on paper throughout her journey.  Then I thought, what a good gift for a student heading off to college to document their first year “on there own” or for a new mother to record their child’s progress (what a wonderful gift to give that child on their 18th Birthday).  Give one to you Mother or Gandmother to tell her story of life (I so wish I would have done this)  A newly engaged couple, to remember all the events and planning of their life together…the possibilities are endless!

I am considering added a stain glass workshop to our list of fun projects.  I am looking at sourcing of supplies to try and keep the cost as low as possible.  I personally LOVE stain glass! I was fortunate to have an Uncle that created so many beautiful things and gifted me with many items I cherish.  So fingers crossed, I can get a source for supplies and hold a workshop..so excited to be able to offer this.
